The facility will serve as the new science center for J&J, the Japanese arm of the world’s largest total healthcare company Johnson & Johnson based in the United States. It is located in the Kawasaki city Tonomachi district, an international and strategic location with the concept of creating new industries through world-class R&D activities in life science and environment fields. The facility was completed in 2014 and incorporates the most advanced medical equipment as well as a training facility for endoscope surgery and a simulator for cardiovascular treatment. Other features include a TV conference system and a large-scale conference room with a capacity of more than 200 people.
Significantly important facility for J&J, which expects to promote exchanges between Japanese and overseas medical professionals based on a good location with a proximity to the central Tokyo, in which many excellent medical facilities with competent professionals are located, as well as to the Haneda Airport.
